Founded in 2006 we have been working with young people, and with those who work with young safely and successfully in a variety of settings since then.
I.C.Y have made a huge difference to our Open Award group. The level of care shown to our participants has been second to none. Our participants insist on them being invited to our presentation evening every year!
We pride ourselves in having a young person centred approach to delivering the outcomes desired by our customers. We’ve worked all over Wales…. and beyond. We continue to develop and deliver exciting and innovative alternative curriculum & leisure time programmes for young people.

Founded in 2006 I.C.Y now has a track record of 18 years working safely with young people. We deliver Alternative Curriculum programmes for LEAs & are proud to be one of the first Approved Activity providers in Britain for the Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award expedition section.
Our team have over 25 years of experienc in delivering youth work & outdoor activities.
We also work in Eryri (Snowdonia), Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) the Peak District, North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales & the Chiltern Hills with our partner schools.

Rhydian Wilson
Is a youth worker with 30 years experience in working with young people. He’s worked for DofE Wales as a Panel secretary, WAYC as a field officer, Ceredigion County council as a part time and a full time youth worker & managed Ceredigion youth service from 2000 – 2006. Rhydian has always been a keen outdoor activities enthusiast. Climbing, Mountaineering, Hill walking, Paragliding, Caving, Canoeing & Mountain Biking being chief amongst the numerous activities he’s followed over the past 40 years.
Qualified as a Summer Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing Instructor, Trail Cycle Leader, Level1 BCU & Level 2 Gym Instructor Rhydian knows how important it is to maintain high standards in the outdoor industry.
As a trustee of the local community owned Leisure Centre & a director of a CIC he also knows how important it is for people to pull together in trying to achieve a common goal. This experience is reflected in the way he works with customers & participants.
